"Emplyer requirements for seeking work permit"

I am presently employed in Australia as an Online Services manager, but am seeking job opportunities and eventally PR in Canada.

I'd like to know what requirements an Employer must satisfy to sponsor a candidate for a work visa to Canada. For example, does the employer company require a minimum number of employees, turnover, etc to be able to sponsor someone?

Thank you,
Vineet

If validation of the job offer is required in order to be eligible for an employment authorization in your case, the issues that you have mentioned are part of the consideration of such. The employer would also be required to demonstrate a significant effort had been made to hire a Canada.
