"employment authorization for a recent graduate."

hello,
I am recent grad of UWO london(ontario) and now, I would like to work in Canada for the one year the law allows.

My problem is how to go about the process. Do I just go ahead and apply for the employment authorization or do I have to change my status first. I already have a few job offers but the authorization issue is the hitch.

Will the authourization be an open one?

What is the best thing to do and how long do you reckon it will take?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

In response to message #0

You must start by obtaining a written job offer for a position which is related to the field of your study, and which starts with in 90 days of the notification of graduation. The application is then conducted within Canada and can be concluded quite quickly in this type of case.

The authorization will not be open (i.e., it will apply only to the position for which you have applied).
