"time spent in obtaining work permits"

my question is ..once you have received a job offer, how much time does it actually take for the processing of the work permit.also does one apply for their own temporary work permit/employment authorisation or does the company offering the job do the legwork for you.any indication of consts involved in us$ will also be welcome.

Delays can range from a matter of hours to several months depending on the qualifications of the applicant, and the nature of the job offer. Examination of both would be required for a more accurate estimate.

Applicants are finally responsible for the application, although some employers do assist in the process. The applicable government cost is approximately US$100 (CAD$150).
