"New Job Offer"

I need your kind help. I am holding an EA, which
restricts my company and position, to work in
Canada. I submitted my application for PR early
this year and obtained AOR last month. At present,
I get an offer from another company. I heard that job
offer validation can be exempted if application for PR
was submitted from within Canada and agreed to
process. However, I am not sure if AOR is an indication
that my application has been agreed to process, i.e.
if I can apply for a new EA without job offer validation.
And will the new EA is more general than the old one?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

No such exemption from validation exists in the case that a PR application is pending in the skilled worker program. If your application is an inland sponsorship, then this would be the case once you have received an Approval in Principle. In the latter case, the employment authorization is open.
