"Incorporating while in a work permit."

I am an Indian citizen. I have a temporary work permit for a company in Canada and I am in their payroll. Is it possible to incorporate a company while I am in a work permit? Can my company compensate me through the incorporation for additional services other than the payroll?

Thanks

David

Yes, you may incorporate a company while you are resident in Canada on temporary status. In order to be eligible for employment and remuneration from this company, however, it may be necessary to seek an employment authorization or exemption.

The details of the circumstances would have to be reviewed to make an accurate determination.
