mcharman Charter Member 04-May-01, 07:30 PM (EST)   "Unit Trusts & Life assurance policies"      I have a couple of life assurance policies and a unit trust which I pay into monthly in the UK. After ten year I get a TAX FREE (in the UK) lump sum. At the moment I am intending to continue paying into them when I immigrate. By the time they are due for payment I probably would have been in Canada some time. What are the tax implications? Thanks for your help.
