"Bachelor's Degree"
Hi
I have six years of programming experience including web development, But my degree is not a 4 year , It is 3 year degree with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects.

But I have a two year diploma in software development.
Do you this affects the chances of job, I mean, employers look out specifically for 4 year degree in computer or related fields like electronics,
would my three year degree hamper my job chances .

And, if yes, could I study one more year in software field, so as to complete four years of formal university education, will then I be at par with engineering graduates

Thanks

Rgu,

Although your education background is important, an employer will be more interested in the practical experience you have. Any further education that you attain will always be an asset but it shouldn't hinder your chances if you compare a three year and 4 year degree.
