Hello everybody, I am a PhD in physics with about 2 years of experience in optical fibre devices and four years research experience in all. I am told the fibreoptic market in Canada is booming and there is tremendous potential for employment in the area of optical communication. There is a range of positions in this field ranging from sales to designer/engineer. You will see the greatest volume of these jobs in the Provinces of Quebec and Ontario. Job prospects are good.
