Edfer,

It is possible to work in Quebec and not speak French, but truthfully, it is very difficult to do so. So many positions, whether they are I.T related or not are customer focused. There is rarely a position where you are not required to interact with a client or customer. French is very important in Quebec and the Government is enforcing it more and more with every passing year. So, it is possible but not as easy as elsewhere in Canada.

By next month my application for selection certificate will be forwarded to Service government du Quebec in (Hong Kong). I am an engineer presently working as Supervisor in Sales and Logistics Department for a PVC plant here in the Philippines I also have an experience working as Assistant Supervisor for Purchasing and Logistic. I am now enrolled in Alliance Francaise du Manille in order to learn French language. I have a brother in Montreal and hoping to be reunited with him once my application is accepted what would you think is the best thing that I can do to increase my percentage of being selected and another think will I get the same job that I am handling here in my country. If not what would you think is the best job that I can start with once I land with my family in Montreal.
