Dear Harry, I wrote you a message in sept 9, 2000...in which I asked about HOW CAN I COPE WITH INTERVIEWS TO BETTER REACH SUCCESS IN MY PROFESSION ? You asked me to give you further details....here you are: I am a toxicologist ( biomedicine ) in a private lab in Brazil willing to move to Canada in the Skilled Worker classification, 12 years experienced in this area, doing Atomic Absorption by means of Flame and Graphite Furnace and High Performance Liquid Chromatography, and being the chief of the lab...monitoring individuals who are exposed to toxic substances in the workplace....This lab is a nice place to work in and a very good salary...but willing to move to Canada to further my career and getting successfully settled in there, at least in the same or better pattern of life there...Am I being ambitious in my intentions....How am I going to be sure of a job opportunity, cos I don´t want to be jobless and subsequently homeless in this lovely Canada, though I have CAD10,000 for settlement proof, but I would "die" being jobless more than 60 days. You gently told me you could give me some hint in this subject ! With thanks and best regards. Hope to hear from you soon ! Edfer, I suggest that you take a look into the Biotechnology Human Resource Council's website : www.bhrc.ca and look at their job listings. It also gives you an opportunity to contact professionals in that field that could suggest areas for you. I wish you the best and you are in good hands with Campbell, Cohen.
