"Searching Job on the net"
Hi.

I want to ask how can i know if a company is willing to hire someone from a foreing country? is because when i search in job search like monster.ca, when i put keywords like "sponsorship" i don't have any job listed. Is outthere a site with specifically wobs for foreigns or something like that? I'm a computer systems engineer with 2 years of experience... i'm 24 years old.

Thanks in advance,
Edwin

Edwin,

Not many companies sponsor people. The days of free rides where you are taken care of by a company are over. You are responsible for getting a Visa or applying for Permanent Residency. A company may pay for your relocation but usually if you have a skillset that is very hard to find here. With 2 years experience you probably will not find that. Canada and the United States are going through the beginning of an economic recession, therefore you will not see a lot of hiring from abroad as we have seen in the last 5 years.

Sorry for the gloomy news but I would rather be realistic than give you false impressions.

Best of luck

Harry
