It puts me in a difficult situation when someone asks me how long it would take to find a job in Canada based on two lines of type. From what you have told me, you have been working with Oracle for @ 4 years now. What I don't know is what type of work that you have been doing with it. What types of projects?

Furthermore, I will repeat something I have said several times. Your character and communication skills will dictate whether you get a job or not. I have been through some intense recruitment activities in the last two weeks and met some brilliant people with lousy personalities and ended up not bringing them onboard. Regardless of the position you apply for, you will always need to be a salesman. For the rest of your career, you will end up selling your ideas, results and capabilities to get ahead. If you are able to understand that, then you will be very successful. Learn how to sell the package that is you. This will determine how long you will wait to get a job.

I wish you nothing but the best

Harry
