The market is strong now for Electrical Engineers. Testing and working with AC/DC. What you need to be is flexible. An Electric Engineering background can be molded into so many areas. One of the skills being sought after now is ASIC. Companies are fighting eachother for this. What you need to do is enter at a lower level and learn as much as you can, building yourself higher. Aim at opportunities, even if they don't seem glamorous at the beginning.

Best of luck

Harry
