"RE: telecommunications" Hi Matt, There are quite a number of positions available across Canada for Telecom Engineers (Microwave, RF, Broadband, Wireless). If you are focused on Ontario, the Ottawa region (Nation's Capital)is probably best known as the Center of the Telecom Industry. You can also find quite a bit of activity in Montreal, Quebec. Just a heads up...one UK Pound equals 2.12 Canadian Dollars. Keep this in mind. Also make sure that you research the tax structure of Canada and it's Provinces. Some people that come into Canada from Europe get a shock of how we are taxed here. Your best bet is to check job boards (Monster.ca, Canadiancareers.com, etc) and also verify Headhunters that could help you...(try looking into www.jobbus.com).
