"arranged employment factor"

   Dear Sir:

We're planning to apply for a permanent resident status in canada and my husband would be the principal applicant. He's a Filipino seafarer employed by an American crusie line company on a contractual basis. He always has a guaranteed letter of employment before he disembark the ship for his next assignment. His work is in the NOC list. Is it possible for him to be qualified on the arranged employment factor if he would request the company to endorse him in the canada-based employment hiring agency to be listed as one of their crews on an indeterminate basis until the permanent resident visa is issued?so, instead of coordinating in the philippine-based hiring agency evrytime he will join the ship, he would now then coordinate to that canada-based hiring agency.he would then become an overseas contract worker of canada and his dependants would reside permanently in Canada. Please advice me so.

Repectfully yours,
wilma

Arranged Employment requires that the applicant obtain HRDC validation/confirmation for a permanent position. The offer itself is not sufficient to earn these points, and the position does not appear to be permanent, and therefore may not be eligible.
