"Visa expiration date?"

   Hello,

I landed in Canada as a permanent resident 3 years ago. At the time, the validity date on my visa indicated sometime in 2004 as the limit, since that is the date my passport expires. Should I apply for a new visa and/or passport?

Thanks!

The expiration date on your landing documents is the date by which you must have landed in Canada. Since you have been a permanent resident for three years, the expiration date on your landing documents no longer applies.
