My fiancee is a Canadian citizen who was to move to the U.S. where I live but, due to circumstances involving her daughters father who has shared custody not being willing to agree to the child being permitted to leave Canada, that will not be possible at least at this time. We are considering the option of me moving to Canada instead. I have legitimate job offers in the area where she lives but don't think they would meet the "unable to find employees from among current residents" requirement I've read about. My finacee doesn't qualify as an eligible sponsor according to the financial requirements I've read. We intend to be married so I'm wondering if we went ahead with those plans if it would help or make things more difficult. I'm just not really sure which direction to pursue with this. Thanks.
