"buffalo ...nyc interview????"

   Dear Mr. Cohen:
I applied for Canadian PR through the Buffalo Consulate in april 2001. The letter of assessment came in Nov. 2001, and the file was transferred to the New York consulate for an interview in march. 2002. In your experience, how long does it usually take the New York Consulate to schedule an interview? and also do they reject cases in interview in nyc as i came to know about this from some discussion group due to sept11 in ny
Thank you.

sammy

Interviews are normally scheduled within a few months after the transfer of the file to the interview location. If you have not been notified of your interview date by September 2002, a status enquiry may be in order.

All interview locations may reject an applicant based on the results of the interview. The New York Consulate does not treat applicants any differently than the other interview locations.
