"Extending Visitor Visa..."

My boyfriend came to Canada from UK on visitor visa in March 2001 and got one extension (by saying he want to travel around Canada) from CIC till Jan 2002 without mentioning our relationship. Now he wants the second extension from CIC, he has his sister living in Canada and got enough funds to support him. I wonder, what should he mention on his application this time to get the extension – Will it be a problem for him to get extension, if he mention our relation or he should simply say he want to travel more in Canada (which he really wants). I’ll really appreciate your guidance.
Thanks
Rita

The decision to grant visitor status and the extension of such is based largely on discretion. As such, it is impossible to accurately predict the likelihood of success in such an application. If your boyfriend can demonstrate sufficient ties to his home, and satisfies an immigration official that his intent to remain in Canada is temporary, he should be successful.

We can only advise hom to be honest in his application for extension.
