"duration of stay"

Actually i'm finding the quickest way that we'll be together with my fiancee and of course to marry her asap.

somebody, adviced me this way,

The quickest, easiest way to apply for Canadian immigration (PR status) is for you to come here as a visitor. Then once you're here, get married and apply as a spouse from within.

If you are unable to get the visitor's visa to come here, then she could fly to where you are, marry you, then she can return to Canada and apply to sponsor you as a spouse outside of Canada.

Spouses do not need to meet the financial requirements. They still have to submit all their financial info, but they won't hold it against her if she hasn't made much money in the last 12 months.

If neither of those options work and she applies to sponsor you as a fiancee, then she will have to meet the financial requirements, proving that she made enough money in the past 12 months to afford to support you.

Here's my scenario:

My fiancee just arrived there last June as an immigrant and got a job 2 wks ago. I'm a foreign worker in singapore and i'm planning to apply a tourist visa for canada in singapore. 1 month is the duration of stay was written on the application form because most of foreign workers are only allowed for 1 month vacation. validity of visas are usually 2 to 3 months to be granted. if the visa will be approved, i'll resign then go home (philippines). so the source country will be philippines. (i've got this plan because applying visitor visa in the philippines takes too long compared here in singapore which it takes only for days if in person to apply)

In the port of entry, does the officer often give the duration of stay based on my application in singapore? for example i stated for 1 month of duration of stay, will the officer of port of entry will give me also 1 month? i'm thinking also about the extension of stay there and it must be 30 days before the expiration of stay in case we process our application for my PR.

all wanna express that i dont wanna marry just for marriage for convenience, our love is genuine and there's no problem for proofs.

At the port of entry, the immigration official will make a discretionary determination of admissibility and the allowed duration of the stay in Canada. The visitor visa application, and subjective factors apparent at the port of entry would be used in making this determination. Extension may be sought from within Canada afterwards, and is based on the same discretionary determination.
