"family class sponsored under pilot project"
 
   Dear sir,
My elder brother is in canada since last 4 years. He sponsored me and my parents in april, 2001 under pilot project. And we have already passed under medical examinations in March 16, 2001. Which was submitted at New Delhi (India).He got letter of approval for both sponsorship and immigrant application from application processing center at canada in June. After that he also paid landing fees of 1000 $ CND for each member( Total 3000 $ CND) in the last week of June. Our medical is not received at application processing center in canada from New Delhi till to date. Could you please tell me that what will be the next process and how much time it will take for issuing the visa ?

   Are you able to confirm that your Designated Medical Practitioner duly forwarded your examination results after completion?

The results are processed by an Overseas Health Services office and then sent to the visa office, generally within 2-3 months. The applicant does not receive any acknowledgement of this processing, however, and it is not unusual for the subsequent issuance of landing documents to take as much as 7 months from the completion of medicals.
