"acknowledgement of the medical examination "

This is in reference to the above subject it has been more than
three months since my medical examination, I have written two
letters to the canadian high commission inquiring about the status since all the fees and procedures have been completed.

A friend of mine who has already migrated stated that it took,
six week for the landing visa to be received after the medical examination is there a change in the current policy?

I would like to know that should I approach canadian high commission again or the canadian ambassador for the status.

There is complete darkness I have to make future plans and am not certain of any status.

Your advice and guidance will be greatly appreciated in this
regard.

Looking forward for your kind reply

Best regards

The delays until issuance of landing documents after medical examinations can vary dramatically from case to case, and office to office. Delays of 5 months or greater are not out of the ordinary at some offices, although in some cases those officer can be quicker.

Additional communication with the visa office would be warranted only if they have exceeded the time frame stated in their last communication to you, or their puclished service standards. Prior to such time, they would not be obliged to respond.

Other means are available, such as Access to Information, but these options should only be used in the case of unusual delay.
