"visit visa"
 
   Kindly confirm if the canadian visit visa has a validity upon issuance i.e Is there a stipulated time with in which the travel be made?.What is the normal period of visa ? Is it single or multiple entry?
Thank you for your help,
PS:Pls consider that I have filed papers for PR and have received the file no.My intention is to see Canada before landing and to assist my brother(family of 7) in settling down ,who has been granted Immigration,what are the best reasons to justify the need for a visit/visa ?

   Visitor visas carry an expiration date by which applicants must arrive in Canada. This would depend on the information provided in the application.

Unless a multiple-entry visa is specifically sought, the visa would be single-entry.
