"Taking a car to Canada...."

Here we go. Currently I'm in U.S., where I was on F-1(student) visa. Now I'm in process for "change of status" to B-1/B-2 or visitor visa. So to speak I'm legal in U.S., but I would like to continue my study in Canada, so I'm gonna apply for student visa, but what about my car? Can I take it to Canada? Do I need insurance from Canada or U.S? What about the title and registration? Do I have to get Canadian licence plate and driver's licence? Also, what about my car payments, can I have a car in Canada and make car payments to U.S. bank?

You should contact Transport Canada to determine the requirements for importing a vehicle if you are not immigrating to Canada.
