"RE: SETTLEMENT FUNDS"
The typical means of demonstrating the possession of settlement funds is the provision of a bank statement, or evidence of other liquid assets such as stocks, mutual funds, etc.

Although the applicant is able to use the funds during the processing of the immigration application, it is possible for the immigration officials to request evidence again prior to the issuance of landing documents or at the time of landing.
