asm 11-Feb-01, 01:20 AM (GMT) "Applicants from ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN plz share your time frame" Hi everybody, This is a message to all the people that have applied to the Islamabad High Commission for IMMIGRATION since JANUARY 2000. I would like you guys to share your different time frames on the different stages of the application, and to notify us when you receive your file numbers, letter of assessment, letter of interview, and medical papers. Even if one case is always different from another, it will help us to have a global picture of what is happening. Thanks a lot for everybody's cooperation! "RE: Applicants from ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN plz share your time frame" Dear All, you don't need to send originals, just send the attested photocopies of Nikahnama and birth certificate from a Notary Public (Oath Commissioner). Everybody is sending photocopies and the originals will be seen at the time of interview, so just don't worry n send the documents. Send your police verification certificate by yourself it will speedize the process...plus a bank certificate showing equivalent amount of $10,000(Rs.3,60,000/-), otherwise they will ask you for these at the time of interview...but this all also depends upon the person who is conducting interview. Ask your friends to share their time frame....or if u knoww the time frame of your friends then please do write that...as Z S Memon has done... My friend applied on Feb 21st 2001 and got AOR on 2nd march 2001! just 12 days after sending application ! I'm a civil engineer by profession I've applied on 21st Nov.2000 and got AOR on 18th Dec.2000. another my friend under same category applied on 11th Oct.2000 and got his AOR on 25th Nov.2000. Another friend applied under electrical engineer category applied on 20th Dec.2000 and got his AOR on 15th Jan.2001,my friends are single and I'm married and my spouse also works. Dear ali u don't need to write anything except not applicable in your wife's form in the dependents column, and u must enclose photocopies of nikahnama with certified translation in english and also copy of birth certificate and if u don't have that then u may send her matriculation certificate. Another person whom I know has applied on 16th March 2000 and has been interviewed in Jan2001 and now got his medical papers some fifteen days back he is Computer Expert having two years diploma and short courses in AutoCAD and Visual Basic. My four realtives who have applied in early 98 just appeared in interviews(Feb.2001) and waiting for medical papers. Hope that everyony will share his or her information here in this forum. But if you read isb instructions it says that send original nikah nama and birth certificates. I have got my degrees verified from UGC and Foreign office. Iam from Islamabad and sending my PR application in few days. My all papers are complete. Two of my friends have already submitted their applications and waiting for the AOR. I need your feedback on the following specially from pakees as he is married: 1. While filling up form for my wife what should i write in dependents field ? as i think that iam the principal applicant and iam not her dependent and my son is also not her dependent. I think i should leave that field blank and write not applicable ? as i mentioned her in my form as a dependent. 2. Do i need to submit original Nikah nama and birth certificates or the photostat will do ? I think the processing time has reduced from 3years to 1 year from Islamabad ?
