mystique 03-Feb-01, 03:23 PM (GMT) "student visa while I have CSQ" Hi David, Is it okay to apply for a student visa while I already hold a CSQ ? Some say yes and some say no... I got the CSQ in October, 2000, and then it took 13 weeks to get the AOR number from Buffalo Office. I am expected to get the next letter 20 weeks after the AOR issuance date. With this speed...I will not be able to attend a school I wanted in August, 2001. Therefore, I would like to file a student visa rather than waiting indefinitely. This would not affect your PR application.
