"The inefficiency of CHC London!"
You probably read about our recent interview at the CHC london and the outcome when the officer could not make a decision immediately because one, she said she did not receive the application of my wife, second, she thinks I am more of a marketing consultant than Economist as stated in the
application. Thirdly the letter of reference from my former employer was missing, but I brought a recent one from my present employer. So she said she'll get in touch in 4-6 weeks time.

Today we just received AOR for my wife! (For those interested, the application was received thru DHL at the embassy on Dec.22 and AOR dated 12 Jan., sent 15th Jan., received 27th. Jan.) When it was written in bold letters in the application that she is a spouse/dependant and my file number and other info were stated and forwarded with the application. Strangely enough, the letter was dated the same day we had our interview.

Pls. advice us what next to do as we are totally confused!

Thanks in advance.

I can only assume that the issue of the AOR that you refer to was in error. If these circumstances occured to a client, we would likely seek to rectify any misunderstandings via written communication while, at the same time, obtaining a copy of the Computer Assisted Immigration Processing Service (CAIPS) notes to determine the exact status.

Without knowing all the details of the case, it is diffuclt to comment further.
