axelequ 26-Jan-01, 01:55 PM (GMT) "Visiting Canada while application is being processed" Hi I'm about to submit an application for permanent resident status under the skilled worker program. What I have been unable to find information about so far is: Will I be able to visit Canada while my application is being processed - for example to attend a job interview? "RE: Visiting Canada while application is being processed" As a general rule, having an application for permanent residence pending does not prevent you to enter Canada as a visitor. It is to the discretion of the immigration official to decide if you are a real visitor.
