Rahat 22-Jan-01, 11:53 PM (GMT) "Statistical education and Computer programming profession, can I apply?" Dear Sir, Actually, a student of statistics with Master of Science degree, in profession, working as software developer in an International NGO Organization-CARE Bangladesh. Do not have any formal computer training or Diploma. Self-educated programmer, but having six years good working experience in computer programming/database application development. Do I have any chance to apply for the Canadian immigration? Do I need any further certification on computer programming? Please help me! Thanking you Md. A statstics degree would often be considered sufficient education for an IT professional.
