"refusal based on experience, what next?"
Mr Cohen,
I have a degree in industrial chemistry and I have been working as a chemical engineer for over 2 yrs now, but my application was refused claiming zero points for work experience.
As I understanding it both occupations are listed as related occupations to each other on the Cicica web site and normally both are interchanged for doing jobs.
what do you advice me to do next.

Rgds,
Tolu

1. "RE: refusal based on experience, what next?"
For the purposes of immigration, any professional Engineering profesional must possess a degree in Engineering, which passes a CCPE evaluation. An industrial chemistry would not generally suffice.

The immigration official should have evaluated you in an occupation suitable to your qualifications prior to refusing the case, however. Failure to do so may be grounds for a Judicial Review, which would have to be submitted within 30 days of the receipt of your refusal letter.

Alternatively, resubmission of the case may also be a possibility.
