"[Questions from the Philippines]"

< I just submitted a PR application last April 2000. I received my second letter last June. I was informed that I need to attend an interview. How many months should I wait for the next instruction and would it be the medical or interview instruction? I'd like to know also the normal processing time in the Philippines. I'd like to pay my ROL fee now even without instructions to do so from the embassy. Will that hasten my application?>

The typical delay between notification that an interview is required, in our experience, has been 8-16 weeks. Standard processing times in such cases have been 18 months.

Payment of the ROL fees in advance of a request can expedite the conclusion of a case, as it avoids the necessity of a written request.
