"Knowing the delays at the Buffalo RPC Is 14 months a fair period?"
Hi Mr. Cohen

I know that you are getting this question over and over.
I applied to the buffalo RPC in November 2000, I live in the USA and I am on "Adjustment of status".

I would like to know if it would be possible for me to obtain the immigrant visa on or before December 2001?

And usually, how long after the interview is the visa sent (I live in New york city).

Thanks a lot, it is because I am trying to plan ahead of time.

It is likely that the application would be concluded within 14 months, based on the experience of our clients. You may expect a delay of 3-4 months after an interview for the issuance of landing documents, although immeidate issuance is possible in some cases.
