"Should I accompany my husband to interview ?"
Welcome in the New Year !
We just sent our application to Buffalo . My husband is the main applicant (skilled worker) and I'm a dependant applicant.
Actually we live in the US but we are citizens from european country . I really appreciate Your help regarding the following problems :
If we receive the invitation to interview , do I have to accompany my husband ?
Do I have to stay within the US during the process of getting the landed immigrant status or can I come back to my country (I'm a graduate from medical school there and I need to accomplish residency there )?
Do I have to be examined by american physician in a case when we are aproved for immigration ? Or can I be examined in my country?
Does my stay in my native country instead of in the US (where from we applied) might have any negative influence or cause any delay in the process ?
Appreciate Your help in dissolving above-mentioned countries .
Sincerely ,
Kaja Rich

Many visa offices request that adult dependents accompany the principal applicant to the interview. Exemption may often be requested, however.

Medical Examinations can be conducted at any Designated Medical Practitioner worldwide, regardless of the venue of the application.

Residence outside of the jurisdiction of the office to which the application is submitted is not necessarily a negative factor.
