"What does this means"

   HI Mr. Cohen,

Thanks for bringing us a great forum. I have receied my medicals from Buffalo in Nov. 2002 and a letter that says that I require an interview. Does the medicals mean that a decesion has been made on my case under the old rules. I am still waiting for the interview.

Visa offices in the USA issue medical examination forms prior to a selection decision being rendered. As such, receipt of such forms is no indication that your case has been approved, especially when issued in conjunction with a notice that an interview is required.
