I sent in my aplication for permanent residence in November 2002 and recieved a kind of acknowledgement in January 2003.In this reply from CIC,I was told to send in 3 more passport photographs,despite the fact that I origianlly inlcluded the specified number of passports photographs(4 copies for Buffalo) with my application.A file number was also issued for my application and I was given a maximum of 60 days to send in the photos or my application would be refused.

I am wondering if anyone has had this same experience and to find out what this could mean.

However, this request would not be detrimental to you case, unless you failed to submit the photographs. In which case your application could be refused on the grounds of non-compliance.
