"How long I have to wait ?"
 
   Hello Mr. Cohen,
Congratulations on maintainig such a wonderful website. I have applied for canadian immigration as a skilled worker from Pakistan.I recieved acknowledgment of my application on 8th of May 2001. How long I have to wait for the call from the visa office at Islamabad?
It has already been two years since I applied.

   The Canadian High Commission in Islamabad has an average processing time of 36-42 months for completion. It is important to note that with the implementation of the new regulations, most processing posts had experienced delays which has extended the average processing time at the CHC.

However, if you have not received any communication from the Canadian High Commission in Islamabad since the issuance of the AOR, you may wish to forward an enquiry to obtain the status of your case.
