"going to Canada for a short time"

   Hello,
I got my immigration visa to Canada and it expires on July 20, 2003.
However I am not ready yet to go and live there because i Have
plenty of issues to resolve in my country (Lebanon).
I need to go there to canada for a couple of weeks before the
immigration visa expires than return back to Lebanon.
What should I do there to ensure that my immigration still holds on.

regards
ziad

If you do not land within the stated validity of your visa, you would generally be required to re-apply in order to become eligible to land once more. Postponement is possible only in some cases in which the original visa validity is contingent on passport validity which is then extended.
