"visa stamping"
 
   Hi,

Once the CIC asks you to submit your passport for visa stamping, is there any deadline for submitting your passport?

   Certain processing posts do provide a deadline for the submission of the passports. This information would be indicated on the CHC's cover letter, wherein they requested the passports. If a deadline was not indicated on the requesting letter than one has not been issued. However, Canadian Immigration prefers that the passports be submitted as early as possible, once the request has been made. If for any valid reason you must wait to submit the passports than you should inform the Immigration office of same and indicated as to when you would be able to submit the passports.
