"Average time after medicals? "
We submitted our application under the entrepreneur category in April 2000, and went for medical examinations in early September 2000. We still have not received visas, although I have read other candidates report a wait of less than 8 weeks. Is our wait unusually long for a London application? I have sent a fax to enquire about my case's progress, but it was not answered.

A delay of three months following the conclusion of medical examinations is not unusually long in London. Unless outstanding requirements exist, you will likely receive the documents in the next 2-3 weeks.

It took only 5 or 6 weeks for me to receive the Landing Papers after medicals (Sydney, Australia). However, it took 3 years to get to that stage!

Hi Tali,
I've been applied for the PR in Canada since April 99, but still haven't received any answer from Sydney office yet. Did your case also took up to 3 years to get to the medical examination stage? Did you also applied under the Skill category? did you have to go thru any interview? I'm so frustrated as I'm worry that I won't get it.
Many thanks for your response in advance.
Regards,
NN.

Could you share your timetable in application from Sydney, Australia? Thank you very much.

Hi Tali:

How are you? Good to know that you applied and got LP from Canadian Consulate in Sydney. Were you required by the immi officer to provide a certificate of driving record and traffic violation, in addition to the police certificate? The certificate of driving record and traffic violation is issued by the RTA. Thanks for attention to my question. Can you forward your email address? My email: guoningmo@hotmail.com
