I applied for Canadian PR under the skilled worker class in December 2002. Within a month I got a letter with a file number asking for another sets of photographs.

Photographs were sent back in mid January 2003 via FedEx. According to FedEx tracking, package was received. However, after sending the photographs, I haven’t received any communication from Canadian Immigration saying whether they have received all the required paper work or not. Is this tipical or it is too early to get any communication from them? Also, what’s the processing time currently to get permanent residency under this category?

Without knowledge of details of the case (i.e., Visa office at least), an estimate of delays is not possible.
