"immigration to Canada"
Dear Mr.D.Cohen,
Hi and hope you health and happiness.
I am coming to Canada maybe in coming 2 weeks as a temporaty employment. I am PhD student and my Prof is in BC University and invited me to go there and finish our common project.
I just want to know how can I immigrat to Canada and should I do it outside of Canada and there is not any chance to do it from inside of Canada? Also I want to know that I have 12 years ago's immigration forms!are those papers valid still or not ? and you think it is bettre to fill forms and send to Syria or not?
2- I had applied for immigration 12 years ago , in that time I wanted to get married a canadian I mean he was my fiance, but after all medical expenses something happened and we quit. but I had a file number in that time . Is there any chance to renewed athat file ,I mean to make shorter the que for immigration,or not?I am married now and have a son.

An application for permanent resident status cannot generally be submitted within Canada, although that does not preclude submission to an office abroad while you are resident herein.

Almost certainly, forms obtained 12 years ago should be updated prior to submission to the appropriate office. An application submitted that long ago would be closed by now.

The exact office that is used depends on a nnumber of factors, including the region of your residence during processing of the case.
