   Dear Mr. Cohen,

Now I truly need your advice. Last November, I received a letter from the NY consulate asking for all the final documents, such as medicals, FBI certificates, and payment of ROLF fees. Since I had to wait for the FBI certificates, I finally mailed all the requirements on December 20, along with an authorization for the Consulate to charge my credit card for the ROLF fees. UPS Tracking shows the package was delivered and signed for on December 23rd, 2003. My credit card statement also shows that the Consulate charged my credit card on January 3rd, which means it would have been IMPOSSIBLE for them not to have received the other documents, such as the FBI Certificates, proof of medical exams, etc. Then a few weeks ago, I made the horrible mistake of doing a status inquiry with both the NY Consulate and the office of Minister Codere. I obviously must have upset either the Minister or the NY Consulate or both, since today, I received a letter from the NY Consulate identical to the November letter that I had received, once again asking me for proof of medicals and original FBI certificates - which, as mentioned, I had already sent on December 20, 2002. In the meantime, I have closed down my business in preparation for the move to Canada, since I had been promised during the interview that we would receive our visas sometime in January or February 2003. I now have absolute no revenues, and continue to lose customers daily who place orders via our company website but whom we are no longer able to sell to due to the fact that we no longer have the infrastructure to do so. For obvious reasons, I cannot afford to wait much longer in this situation, as this is ruining my business, costing me lost revenues and customers, causing severe mental and physical stress on me, my wife, and my son. What can I do ?

   The likelihood is that the materials were received at the visa office, but were not incorporated into your file by the time that the letter you refer to was issued by the visa office. Send a written notice to the visa office reiterating the earlier provision of such documents, and ideally including copies of such once more.
