"Processing time"

   Dear Mr. Cohen,
Thank you for the excellent website and conference.
I'm going to apply for a permanent residence soon. Do you see or foresee any changes in a processing time? I think they have much less appications after June, 2002. On the other hand, they'll need additional time to re-assess old applications after March 2003. I think the majority of your audience will be interested to hear your thoughts on this issue.
Thank you.

Ilya

Thge expectation is that processing times will begin to decrease following the March 31st end of the transitional period for the old Regulations. Of course, only time will tell.
