"airport immigration procedure"

I landed on June 2000, stayed one year in canada. Then after two years working in Middle east, I am returning back to canada to apply for PR card by april 2003. Am I violating any immigration rules and Do I face any problem with airport immigration officers. Can I say the truth that I am out for 2 years. Any expert advice is appreciated

You should only provide the truth to immigration officials. Failure to do so can have serious negative consequences.

As permanent residents are presently permitted to be absent from Canada for a period of 3 years out of any given 5 year period, this should not have an adverse effect.
