woody 07-Dec-00, 09:15 PM (GMT) "Canada immigration" My fiance is an American citizen who is presently living in the U.S. He wants to come to Canada to live permanetly with me and find employment. We are not planning on getting married for a little while yet. We have heard all kinds of stories about the difficulties in being able to come to Canada when you are an American. Can someone out there PLEASE help. Where do we start? I live in the province of British Columbia and that is where we are going to be living. Any help or advice would be of value right now.
