   Dear Mr. Cohen,

In your advise to one person in this forum, you said "do not contact the consulate until 12 weeks have passed..." What happens if one contacts the consulate before 12 weeks have passed, as I did? Will they take it against me and delay the request for our passports on purpose? If so, is there anything I can do about it?

   Communications to visa offices prior to the expiration of service standards will generally be ignored by the visa office.
