"IELTS must for old applicants?"

I had applied for immigration about 2 yrs back and got interview wavier and completed medicals. Till date I have not received landing papers. Now as per the new policy they will evaluate me under new point system. Do I have to provide the proof for my language by giving tests like IELTS. If YES then will they inform me for providing the proof of language profficiency or I should submit on my own.
Can you please guide me this matter.

Thanks for providing such a wonderful platform for interaction.

Regards
Nitin

The requirements for an IELTS score depends on the individual visa offices, and the details of the case. In most cases, however, visa offices are recommending submission of IELTS scores.
