"Please Advice"

   Dear Sir,

I am 29 yrs old, married, female Indian citizen currently residing in United Arab Emirates. I have strong plans of relocating to Canada.

I have completed 4 years Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science in India but due to unavoidable situation I did not get my degree. I have a 4 year of course completion certificate given im my college, software and hardware projects completed. I had taken up software courses in Oracle/Developer 2000, ASP/XML, Java and also got my Brainbench Certification in Visual Basic and HTML. I have 8 years of experience as a Software Trainer, Programmer and Web Developer. French was my second language at school. I have my brother (Permanent Resident) living in Toronto.

Since I don't have degree how will I qualify to apply for Immigration? I have the skillset to settle in Canada but I don't want my degree to be a barrier for this.

Please advise how can I proceed.

Thanking You,

Samou

In the absence of your copmpleted degree, the likelihood of success is low. One avenue to resolve that under the present Regulations is likely arranged employment. However, the reality is that HRDC confirmation of and IT occupation under the circumstances described is unlikely.

Completion of the degree and simultaneous improvement of French language skills is the most certain route, but takes a little longer.
