"Points in PR for Work Permit under Pilot Project"
 
   I applied at buffalo in Dec 2001 for my immigration. I am on a Work Permit in Canada, which i obtained under the Pilot Project for IT Professionals and so obviously, the HRDC validation process did not happen,( though HRDC sent my company a letter stating i do not need vlaidation and should apply under the Software Pilot Project).


Would i get the 10 points for Arranged Employment or not ? Why / Why not ? Is there something i can do to get those points?

And how many points can i get under the Adaptibility factor ? - (am single , no relatives in Canada)..

   You may be eligible for 5 points on the Adaptability factor, if you have worked for a full year in Canada by the time of assessment of your case.

You will not earn points on the Arranged Employment facto, however, as this is not an HRDC confirmed job offer, subject to provisions of "Significant Benefit to Canada," or part of an International Treaty.

   i talked to someone in CIC and they said i could get the points if my employer gives a permanent job offer letter, stating their intention to employ me after i get the PR. is this true?

Also has anybody who filed at Buffalo, had any luck tryng to get their application status using e-Client? i filed in Dec 2001 and still nothing shows up.

   A job offer without HRDC confirmation has no value under the present criteria.
